Oyo engages O-YES Cadets to Supervise Exams.

Exams Malpractice: O-YES Cadets Assume BESEC Exams Supervision
The decision of Oyo state government to engage the cadet members of Oyo state Youths Employment Scheme (O-Yes), in supervision of the on-going JSS3 BESEC examination has been condemned by many, who viewed the decision as 'cutting the nose to spite the mouth.'
While strongly condemning the government decision to use O-YES cadets in supervising the exams, a teacher in a public secondary school, who would not want his name mentioned, said it might not be far from the truth, the insinuation that government decided to engage the cadets members for the exercise because of collusion of some teachers and their students in perpetuating examination fraud, but it would amount to "throwing the baby away with the bathwater" at the end of the day, as many public school teachers never liked the act of malpractice.
In a rather hot debate on a facebook group page ( Forum of iseyin people on facebook), individuals argued that as much as it is undesirable for teachers to engage in any form of malpractice, especially during examinations, using inexperienced cadets as supervisors is tantamount to leaving the future of the society out to decay.
The debators advised the state government not to overlook the fact that the cadet members would be lacking in requissite experience to supervise such examination and that competent and trustworthy teachers should be engaged in such, in other to secure a viable future for the children.
