The police operatives attached to Ajuwon division of the Ogun state police command have arrested one Bamidele Olasunkanmi (32), who was dismissed from the Nigeria Army for stabbing and critically injuring a man.
Olasunkanmi of No 25 Heritage Estate, Akute in Ifo local government area of Ogun state was dismissed from the Nigerian Army in February 2014 and was arrested alongside his friend, one Ehis Ehizune (21) of No 9, Isekire Street, Ajuwon.

The incident, according to a release from the command on Wednesday and signed by the Olumuyiwa Adejobi, occurred around 6:00am on Tuesday September 22, 2015.
Argument ensued between the dismissed soldier and a group of boys including the injured man on a minor conflict which had occurred on Monday (previous day) before the fake soldier, who was on complete Nigeria Army uniform, brought out a jack knife and stabbed the victim repeatedly.
Meanwhile, the state commissioner of police, Abdulmajid Ali has directed that the matter be properly investigated as the command wishes to put an end to impersonation that is a bit high presently in the state.
Ali also urged members of the public to report anyone, who claims to be an officer of any security agency but behaves otherwise, to the police for interrogation as such a person could be fake.
