Ebedi Writers Residency Hosts Trio From Ghana, Cameroun and Nigeria

Nigerian writer Stanley Princewill Balogun will be joined by Ghanaian Moffatt Nii Addokwei, and Camerounian, Dzekashu Macviban at the Ebedi Writers Residency in Iseyin, Oyo State as the first set of resident writers for 2016.
Moffatt is the holder of a Masters degree in Fine Arts as well as a Diploma in Journalism from the University of Ghana. Between 1977 and 1979, he was a reporter with the Daily Times of Nigeria. He thereafter moved back to Ghana and worked extensively in the media as a Radio Announcer and later Theatre Manager for the Ghana Arts Council.
Several of his plays have appeared on NTA as well as on many Ghanaian TV Stations. He has also appeared in several Television plays as well as Films.
Moffatt who is the current Public Relations Adviser for the Ghana Writers Association plans to use his time in Ebedi to complete his poetry collection as well as a new book of fiction. He is also expected to mentor some Secondary School Students in Iseyin in the areas of Drama and Public Speaking.
